Design Approach

Drawing inspiration from the meditative practice of ceramic-making, where forms arise through intuition and collaboration between maker and material, MIAO's design process is one of respectful dialogue. Each collection invites fabrics—raw silk, wool, leather, clay, and wood—to express their natural characteristics through gentle manipulation rather than forced construction.

Craftsmanship & Sustainability

MIAO champions a slower, more intentional mode of creation. Each garment is crafted with minimal waste and maximum purpose, integrating traditional craftsmanship techniques including macramé, leather-stitching, and wood inlay.
